While browsing online I found three wikis that I thought were quite interesting. here are the URLs:
http://watchmen.wikia.com/wiki/Watchmen_Wiki
This was pretty straight forward, just a wiki of pretty much everything Watchmen related. Everything from character backstory to plot analysis to the symbolism laced throughout the comic.
http://wiki.verbix.com/
A wiki to help with learning many different verb conjugations in different languages. Of course, these are all VERY simple versions of it and have just the bare minimum. However, it makes up for it by having over 500 languages.
http://guitar.wikia.com/wiki/Guitar_Wiki
This was just a very basic wikia on guitar related news. From music to new release of guitars and guitar related merchandise.

RSS is a useful way to keep track of news and blogs that you may have encountered before by "subscribing" to them. To subscribe to RSS feeds, you just need to find a blog or news site. Nearly every blog allows this, however some sites that aren't news sites or blogs will offer RSS feeds too. Though, these will need a button to subscribe. Or, simply look through the bundles on the Google reader.
I subscribed to a guitar bundle feed on the Reader, and really liked how it bundles together a bunch of sites that i already visit. I can really see myself perusing through the said sites for many hours, since I will occasionally get too lazy to visit every site, and sometimes forget to. Now that they're all in one place it's much easier to browse through the feeds. The inteface itself is okay, it gets the job done without being too flashy or overly simplified.
From the Mercury list I selected the city of my hometown, Cupertino, to recieve news for. I didn't have any trouble looking for RSS feeds on any other sites, because they usually make the RSS button very easy to see, either being placed at the top of the page or at the very bottom.

Here's my flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/78274956@N03/
Flickr was a nice website to browse through pictures that are slightly more streamlined that Google images. While Google images is simple, flickr allows you to get much better matches and less extraneous images that have nothing related to what you were looking for.
What was even cooler was the color picker which allowed you to search general images of a certain color.

Well, this is my first blog isn't it? The layout is very easy to understand. Looked through it just before blogging and the tags are all nice and clear.
I have never used a blog before but am a little familiar with the layout having visited a couple blogs before this assignment.
I may change the themes of the blog and layout with pictures, but other than that I like the "Simple" theme that was provided at startup.
I may actually start using a blog after this class, but only if I start finding interesting things to reblog that I think are hard to access. Since most things are easily found with a simple Google search I find that re-blogging other people's things is slightly unecessary. Unless, like I said it's something not very easy to find or I start doing some forms of art or reviews.
Be Hear Be Now was an interesting looking blog that I may look into later. I really liked the simple layout. It wasn't as bubbly as the other two which made it feel a bit excessive and unneeded.
